WHAT WE FEED
YOUR PUPPY DESERVES THE BEST START​
Here at MONTANA LEGACY DOODLES, our puppies always have access to food and water throughout the day, although free feeding might not suit everyone. For effective potty training, we recommend feeding your puppy three times a day for the first four months, followed by reducing to two meals a day. Puppies can be selective eaters; to encourage them to eat their kibble, try adding NuVet powder, which they are already accustomed to. If you are wanting your pup to remain on vitamins we suggest to order them in advance.

When housebreaking your puppy, it's helpful to remove their food and water around 7 pm unless circumstances such as late-night activities or playtime necessitate a drink. Always end the night with a trip outside for a bathroom break.

Each puppy is sent home with a small bag of their current food, which should last a week or more. If you choose to switch foods, start with the familiar food and gradually introduce the new food by mixing them.
